About
Tinc Set was born in the middle of a pandemic, in an alley, out the back door of Alma (our first baby on Avenue Lajoie in Outremont). A summer take-away counter offering Barcelona-style roasted chicken, Catalan natural wine and hot churros, Tinc Set energized the neighbourhood while restaurants were closed.
Then, just before the pandemic’s second wave, we had the opportunity to expand, taking over the ‘Les Courses de Lajoie,’ the convenience store next door to Alma. What was meant to be a temporary back alley project came to life in its very own brick and mortar. A bustling neighbourhood wine bar, today Tinc Set shares Alma’s kitchen and offers in-house dining 6 days a week.
